Bob Hannah Roasts the Legends – the UNEDITED Video

Kick back and enjoy – politically incorrect and damn proud of it!

On November 3rd, 2007, a once in a lifetime event happened at the beautiful California Theatre in San Bernardino, when one of the largest gatherings of legendary motocross riders, mechanics and journalists got together to screen the newly released movie, “One Chance to Win”. In addition to the movie, the audience was treated with a special surprise intermission "roast" by Bob Hannah, on his competitors and friends who were either in the audience - or not (gulp).

The 1975 AMA 500cc Motocross Series will go down as one of the most exciting in the history of motocross. With only five races in the series that year, there was little room for error. It all came down to a miserable, hot and humid day in September – the famous battle of New Orleans. In the fifth and final round, five riders had one chance to win the championship before the last moto - Jimmy Weinert (YAM), Steve Stackable (MAI), Billy Grossi (SUZ), Kent Howerton (HUS) and European rider, Pierre Karsmakers (HON). And to add to the excitement, Brad Lackey (HUS) had returned from Europe to join his American competitors in ensuring a US victory over the lone European rider and his former arch rival, Pierre Karsmakers.

A young filmmaker captured this controversial and exciting series on 35mm film, for a documentary that was never widely released until now. Thirty years later, the Producers of The Motocross Files, have restored the film to HD, as well as produced a new 50-minute, “Behind the Battle – The Making of One Chance to Win”, which includes recent interviews with Jimmy Weinert, Pierre Karsmaker, Brad Lackey, Steve Stackable, Bob Hannah, Bill Buchka, Keith McCarty, Bevo Forte, Roy Turner, Dave Arnold, Jody Weisel, as well as the original Director and Producer of the film, Charles Bush.
